Weekly Roadrunner Update 3/21

Great week of practice! Our first Beginner's practice was very successful. Since the lake has come up a few feet, our cove has filled in and become a nice sheltered area for our beginners to sail in when windy. The wind was up all weekend and our Green Fleet took advantage of the conditions to improve their heavy air sailing skills. Job well done by everyone who came out last week!
Thank you to Will Abrams, the Larrouilhs, the Robertsons, and the Skansis for coming out for the first ever Free Sail Sunday! It went very well despite the high winds and I think everyone had a great time. Join us next week anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 to take out a Sail Training boat. Optis, Sunfish, Picos, Lasers, and FJs will be available.
Practices will be at their normal times this week: Beginners/Basics Thursday 4:00-6:30, Green Fleet Saturday 1:30-4:00, Lasers Saturday 4:00-6:30. Please RSVP!
