JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
|
1. Responsible for preparing and monitoring of the equipment division.
2. Purchases heavy equipment’s; order equipment according to department / company procedures; checks in equipment upon delivery to verify receipt; plan the needs of equipment’s and coordinate with procurement in their procurement.
3. Manages daily operations for the equipment operation and workshop
4. Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives
5. Leads and directs the whole equipment department management , staff and workers
6. Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately ; guide and supervise the business development team in their function of scouting for new clients with their and quotation to them.
7. Approve the quotations for the clients
8. Approve the participation of tender and the rates
9. To Liaise with the client (both present and prospective) in finalizing the business deal and in the implementation of the project.
10. Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals.
11. Proactively communicate project status, issues and risks to management.
12. Follow / implement policies, procedures and methodologies
13. Conduct regular meetings with all section heads and supervisors
14. Identifying training needs for staff and arranging accordingly
15. Maintain timelines and target dates in projects
16. Managing co-ordination of the working teams engaged in projects and equipment works.
17. Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan.
18. Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
19. Resolving cross-functional issues at project level.
20. Monitoring project progress and performance
21. Providing status reports to the Client.
22. Liaises with, and updates progress to, project team, senior management.
23. Monitors the discipline of employees in the division and reports any irregularities to HRM for suitable action
24. Approves procurement of spares, etc / for the equipment workshop.
