The 2014 AGM of the Australian Youth Aerospace Association will be held at 8:00pm AEST/9:00pm AEDST Monday 24 November 2014. A link for the online meeting will be posted on the day.
In 2014 AYAA continued its role as the pre-eminent national association for students interested in pursuing a career in aerospace. The Aerospace Futures conference for undergraduates was held for a fifth successive time, returning to its inaugural location in Brisbane. The Australian Youth Aerospace Forum for secondary students was held again in Brisbane, continuing its success. AYAA also continued the tradition of organising Young Australian Space Leader Scholarships to help leading students attend the Space Generation Congress and International Astronautical Congress, this year in Toronto, Canada.
To continue the success of the association we need to reinvigorate the organisation with new committee members. If you are interested in joining the management team in 2015, please read the information pack on position descriptions and AYAA events at the link:

Please note that details on the RFP process for event Chair positions (AF and AYAF), detailed in the document, will be announced soon.

Nominations will close at 11:59pm 19 November.
We are always looking for volunteers to help so if you would rather be involved at a state level or on event committees, please contact your state representative or event Chairs after the AGM. More information on how you can get involved will follow.
