What do folks think about storing credit/debit card information as a
part of ones profile ?

Following assumptions apply

1) This attribute set is stored encrypted.
2) Provider is a trusted party (to the user).
3) The disclosure of this "attribute set" by the provider to replying
party is mediated by the user.

I don't see why not, because people would enter "one-time" use type
virtual credit card numbers or ones that they can top-up.
So we should see the ability to store more than one card, then nastier
bit is specify which address the virtual card is registered to.
