Hello,
I have problems getting chromevox modifier keys to work.
I am running chrome canary build under Windows XP. I've got an Acer
AO150 notebook.
The extension is installed fine, I am getting audible feetback when the
focus changes but I am unable to review the page.
By default I am using slovak keyboard layout with all the other locale
settings set to slovak.
I've tried changing the keyboard layout to us english. I've tried
stopping NVDA to no avail.
I've also tried reinstalling chrome deleting my profile, I've even tried
to run the latest nightly of chromium and still I don't seem to be able
to use these modifier keys.
Can you suggest something else to try and make it work please?

Greetings

Peter

Hi Peter,

Please try these steps and let us know which (if any) of these steps
is failing for you:

1. Close all Chrome windows and then restart Chrome.
2. Go to: http://google-axs-chrome.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/chromevox_tutorial/index.html
3. Hit tab a few times. Do you hear: "Getting started with ChromeVox",
"ChromeVox Interactive Tutorial", "Chrome OS Keyboard Shortcuts
Reference Page"?
4. Hold Ctrl + Alt, then press the right arrow key a few times. Do you
hear: "Object", "Sentence", "Word", "Character"?

Just to ensure I have freshly booted into windows.

I've started chrome canary, then the chromevox sound was played I have
pressed alt+d to go to the addressbar, pasted this link and hit the
enter key.

Yes I can hear these just fine. I am sure chromevox is working at this
point because NVDA's sleep mode is turned on.

No I can hear nothing while doing this. I am holding down ctrl+alt and
pressing left / right arrow keys. Nothing is spoken also when I release
ctrl+alt keys. It works this way no mather whether my screen reader is
turned off or is in the sleep mode.

Greetings

Peter
