Hello,

Are you installing ChromeVox directly from the Chrome Web Store or are you using a .crx file?  It should work when installed from the Web Store; if not there may be something wrong with that specific computer.

Hope that helps,
James.

I was installing Chrome and ChromeVox for the special ed teacher at my school (I am the librarian), and it worked fine on all but one computer. Whenever I tried to install it, I get the error message Package is invalid: 'CRX_FILE_NOT_READABLE'. The computer is running Windows 7, and Chrome v. 23.0.1271.91 m. Is there another way to install the extension?
