Will AXR use JS or some other language?

Sorry if this is already well known, but I looked around the website and couldn't find an answer. Will AXR being using JS or will it be using some other language? I would personally prefer Python mainly because Python is by far my favorite language to program in :D, but I am far from experienced enough to say that Python is the best language for it to be in, just that I really like python.
