Dear AXOLOTL participants,

The test phase of the shared task has ended now.
We would like to thank you all for your efforts and for your submissions!

8 teams participated in Subtask 1
(https://codalab.lisn.upsaclay.fr/competitions/18009) and 3 teams
participated in Subtask 2
(https://codalab.lisn.upsaclay.fr/competitions/18008). Subtask 2 is
comparatively novel and probably more challenging, so this difference
was expected.

What's next?

1) Today, we will process the results and publish the test phase
leaderboard. If, for some reason, you don't want your username or team
name to be published, it's time to tell us.
2) Next week, we will launch separate Codalab competitions for the
post-evaluation phase. This way, it will still be possible to make
submissions and receive the AXOLOTL'24 scores in the future, but these
leaderboards will be separate from the "official" shared task which is
now finished.
3) For now, the existing Codalab competitions are in the development
phase again. Feel free to experiment with the dev sets, if you would
like to.
4) We really hope that many of you are considering submitting a paper
about your system to the LChange'24 workshop
(https://www.changeiskey.org/event/2024-acl-lchange/). If so, remember
that the submission deadline is May 10, which means only one month to
prepare your paper. Keep it in mind!
5) We as the AXOLOTL'24 organizers would really appreciate more details
about the participating systems to incorporate them in the paper
describing the shared task in general. Many submissions came already
with a brief description, which is great! But once you have a paragraph
or two with the essence of your method, please send it to us in private,
if possible.

Thank you again!

On behalf of other organizers,
