Currently there is no way on the Discovery board.
On actual Axoloti, patches can be launched from sdcard using the patch/load object. Or swapping sdcards will just run launch the startup patch from that card. As if they ware tiny cardridges :)
Future work: midi program changes could trigger a patch load, probably using an index file that associates program number with patch names.
For help:
* you get brief explanations of object, in- and outlets by hovering over with the mouse
* help patches showing the object in an functional patch context, that can be reached from both a library menu as well as by the object popup menu (1)
* tutorials, examples
* community! You're welcome at
community.axoloti.com already, this will replace this google group very very soon!
(1): A lot of things happened in the unstable branch of Axoloti on github.
Now I realize your FM patch was an adaptation from the tutorial patch, and that was teaching you to use the fm input rather than the pm input. Will change that now, and explain in the patch that FM really means PM.
If you want to learn about synthesis, I believe a lot of common tricks translate quite nicely to Axoloti. And where it does not, it calls for more objects.
