Help with connecting AWS to Datacentre

We are in the process of connecting AWS to a client Datacentre using
VPC. The Datacentre network & firewall experts are throwing up some
challenges that I am not sure are justified. We are however not well
equiped to argue against there advice.
Am really looking for a networking and firewall expert who can help us
break through this, and probably to build a longer term relationship
with us to assist in these type of matters?
