Selected self portrait acrylic paintings of participants to the
ARTERAPI 1 will be shown at the Exhibition #4 organized by the Museum
of Everything at a Central London location that opens on September 2,
2011. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ARTISTS!
Arterapi 1 is a series of art workshops for persons with mental
illness supported by Foundation AWIT in partnership with the
Philippine Mental Health Association (http://www.pmha.org.ph/).
Teacher Pilar Zagala, a fine arts graduate with a Master’s degree in
special education, facilitated the sessions from drawing basic lines
to painting on canvass. Student volunteers from the UP Open
University also assisted the workshop participants.
The Museum of Everything is Britain's first and only museum dedicated
to the untrained, unintentional and undiscovered artists of the modern
