*NFU & Status issue Update*

It has been reliably learnt that the Equiv Committee has submitted its Report to RM. In its findings, it has reiterated equiv of JCOs with Gp C employees, Lts & Capts with Gp B offrs, Lt Cols with lowest Gp A Posts, Cols with Jt Dirs, Brigs with Dirs and Maj Gens with PDs. It has refrained from directly stating that Commissioned Offrs are Gp B equiv cadre, but technically it implies the same. Sadly, the Report has been signed by DGMO as a Armed Forces Member, with the approval of COAS. It proves our worst fears that our senior leadership is deeply buried under the weight of their own petty personal aspirations, thereby applying the Chetwode Motto upside down. However, we cannot afford to allow our Status to be sold out by few in the hierarchy.

After the success of initial Campaign on 07 Oct, wherein Tweets by 806 participants were viewed by approx 1.24 crore ppl Trending amongst top 4 in India and in Top 50 in the World, a follow up Campaign is being planned in next few days. Aim is to make it the most trending topic at National level, so as to force the Govt take note of the issue. But, we need more support in the next campaign.
