So me and Lisa were talking earlier about the blocking of the Pharisee and the adulterous woman scene (I was reading earlier, and it was confirmed by Raj, that it is not known whether this woman was Mary Magdalene) and we had the idea of having it happen on the carpet in front of where Josh and Hannah are frozen. One of the problems with this is that it would mean the Sleazeballs/Jewish Leaders will have to change even faster than they already are. So to alleviate that problem we talked about having some dialogue at the beginning of the scene. between Jesus and the crowd or soldiers and the adulterous woman. (i also read in the footnotes of my Bible that the people actually doing the stoning would be a crowd of people rather than the Jewish Leaders themselves) so i took the liberty of writing up that dialogue. Let me know if you want me to make any changes to it. i took the Jesus and crowd lines straight from John 7: 15-44 and made up the soldier and adulterous woman lines.

I like this idea. The adulterous woman/pharisee scene in general will be difficult for people to see because she is down on the ground. I thought of everyone's suggestions about having it by the ambo or the priest chairs but that area is too small to work with. Having the scene in the front by the carpet will bring up another problem that should be raised is the lights may capture on josh and hannah as they are frozen making the scene hard to work with on the carpet. But we can try seeing how this works though. This does help in giving some time for the sleazeballs/pharisees to get ready for changing as it has been a difficult problem in the past. Overall, I like the new change, addition of more scripture, and the interpretation of the more theological background to it. Let's try this and see if the kids can do this.

Maybe the light on josh/hannah won't be so bad since their frozen pose should parallel when Jesus picks up Mary Magdalene off the ground. I agree with you, but we'll just have to see it
