Hello ladies! Time to bite the bullet and hammer this out! Here's what I saw we still need to do after watching the practice. You can, in another color, make notes next to these. Let me know what you think and where you can help. Don't forget to reply all! Thank you for everything you're doing for Jesus through this work. Your reward will truly be great in heaven :)

Stuff that needs immediate attention
Soldiers: We need their outfits! Eddie ordered stuff for three soldiers but we can potentially have six soldiers. What should we do for the other two/three? Ideas?

Pharisees/Jewish Leaders: We need a to solidify their outfits. I think Caiphas is okay but the others need something definite. I know that Angela is working on something. For now, let's put this on a high priority list.

Disciples: A sash or cloth to unify them. They don't all have to wear it as sashes. Maybe they can wear it as headwear or a belt too. We just need something to unify them.

Jesus: Blood! Ah!

Stuff that has less priority
Mother Mary: We just need something to make her stand out. She is Our Lady.

Pilate: Wash and fix that robe. Are we still doing a diadem for her?

Drew: Needs a patient gown and blanket for the hospital scene. I'm also thinking a handkerchief with blood on it for when he gets stabbed. What do you think?

Josh: Should we give him a bloody shirt for when he is bleeding out and dying?

Ending scene outfits: I forgot to tell them. I think we should have them wear whatever pants they've been wearing and cream or off-white shirt. What do you think?

Stuff we don't have to worry about (because the character should be taking care of it) but we need to be aware of it
Disciples: Don't wear earrings! Can't be blingin' at the Last Supper
Jesus: We need to put dot on his hands at the end.
Via singer's outfit: Needs to be all black.
Priest: Fix hair! Make it look descent for a priest.
Justin: Needs a zip up Berkeley sweater
Janelle: Shirt is too low. Don't forget to wear black jacket for funeral and take off for flashback. The blindfold for the date scene will be from the cloths Juan gave me.
Hannah: Wear a thicker strap...oh my...
Drew: Put dark eye make up underneath eyes before agony scene. Don't forget to remove it for the end scene.
Chris (Arthur): Needs a black zip up jacket.

I got the blood of Jesus taken care of. I paint his wounds manually, and right before Via starts I'll have a squirt bottle of pre-mixed blood (not too red, not too black) by the piano to go on his face; not above his eyes though.

For the other soldiers, I was thinking the same white-shirt white "tunic" combo, sandals, and it would be nice if they could get a big belt.

For all soldiers, if we could figure out some sort of dark-colored wrap to act as wrist and shin guards, that would be nice.

What dy'all think?

I like that for the other soldiers who doesn't have the gear to have them just be wearing a dark colored material to act as gear for them.
Eddy, how many blow dryers would you want? I know that sometimes we are in crunch time during these times.

hi guys! Sorry I've been MIA. So much stuff keeps holding me down. So I think at this point it's best to just tell me what to do since I'm so scattered everywhere. Just let me know what you need sown, bought, designed, etc. I don't have much time to think of commentary so just put me to work and I'll get it down.

Hope that works!

two should  be sufficient. Besides, even if we brought more, we'd need a surge protector to plug them in lol

Rem: can you buy material or the disciples' wear. I trust your decision on what it looks like. I think two yards can make enough for twelve...

Angela: how's the Jewish leader outfit coming along?

For the soldiers: let's have those without the gear wear all black. That way they won't distract from the others.  That means those with the gear should be the ones with the lines and more prominent than the others. As for the shin guards, possible if someone wants to volunteer to make it. Right now I don't mind just sandals at least for the first show

Who is going to practice tomorrow? Or JP! Can you tell the main characters to wear off white or cream shirts for the last scene. That's Hannah, Chris, Drew, and Janelle. Josh should be all white.

@Myra:
(For the last scene): Not sure if wearing off-white/cream would be a big enough distinction on stage from the white that Jesus/Josh are wearing. Maybe instead give them a color scheme?

How about yellow, pink, light blue or light green? I'm thinking Easter colors.

I like yellow, and light blue. Maybe even purple?

Yellow and light blue goes into UCLA colors. Purple is within the Easter palette too as long as it's light. We can tell them to each pick a different Easter color.

I like the idea of them each having a different Easter color. I'll tell them today.

Hello! Sorry for not being in this. I didn't realize thus was the form of communication that we are all using since I came in the game hells late, so I hope you'll excuse me...

Anyway, I can donate $5 if Auntie gene doesn't agree.

Regarding the Jewish leader costumes, I'm having second thoughts about the head covering, it starting to look nun-like, and I'm not sure the audience will see what we saw so I have a few more suggestions which ill show today.

Also, the black gowns... Turns out they ARE different material, on is shiny so if anyone has an extra black graduation gown small enough for tiny Andrew Cumpas (that's his name right?) please bring it.

Thanks!

Oh ok. Ill dress them up and take pictures. Do you have black fabric (from those cotton squares?) I wanted to use that for the head covers.

Yes! I forgot that I brought the box home. I'm going to drop it off with AJ who will bring it to practice.
