I'm an old codger trying to use your tool to make life simpler, e.g. a
one button command to generate a password for my various needs on Win
xp and my iphone. I also have an iphone 4s that I downloaded the pro
version on.

However, I'm used to having a user's guide for software programs, (the
simpler the better), and such doesn't seem to exist with your App. So
some questions if you don't mind.

1. Does the Windows version sync with my iphone?
2. Now that I've created passwords, (I think) on both my pc and the
iphone, what happens next? How do I use them?
3. How do I set up a one button command to generate the passwords I
need?

Sorry for these, likely obvious questions, but for us "oldies but
goodies" it's not as obvious as I would like/need.

Hello, Richard.

However, I'm used to having a user's guide for software programs, (the
simpler the better), and such doesn't seem to exist with your App. So
some questions if you don't mind.
You read my mind! I think a normal human being don't have a patience to read thous big and boring user manuals, so my main projects' page is enough for most users. Let's go there for a moment.

1. Does the Windows version sync with my iphone?
And here is the answer:

System requirements

  • Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8
Only Windows, and no iPhones there, right?

2. Now that I've created passwords, (I think) on both my pc and the
iphone, what happens next? How do I use them?
Well... here is another quote:
  • Common, "general purpose" passwords for e-mail, online accounts and any desktop applications;
  • Wi-Fi (WPA) passphrases for your wireless devices;
And... you DO know why you downloaded password generator, yes? Such a strange question...

3. How do I set up a one button command to generate the passwords I
need?
Easy! There is two methods (and two last quotes):
  • Just launch the generator and a shiny new password will be copied in the clipboard automatically!
  • QuickGen: on Windows 7/8 you can generate passwords via taskbar button's menu.
