{Awesome GRRRLS Brisbane} Help me get to Thornbury (to meet interstate awesome grrrls :D)

Hello everyone!

I need your help to be able to attend & participate in a really nifty
performance event - POC THE MIC, an event for performance artists,
musicians, poets, drag royalty, etc of Colour/Minority background.
It's in Thornbury, VIC on the 29th of May:

Most likely I'll be performing Ex/Rotic, which I developed with
Vulcana Women's Circus and have performed at Island Vibe, BITSFestival
[Sampler], and Femmetastic.

One of the co-organisers, Lia Incognita, is part of the totally
awesome Ladies of Colour Agency - a burlesque/performance art troupe
that tackles issues of racism and gender head-on. I have been chatting
to Raina, another member, for a little while now and I would love to
meet them in person and see them in action. They are totally awesome
GRRRLS to the max!

I need to raise $300 to head to POC THE MIC. The $300 covers airfare
from Brisbane to Melbourne as well as accommodation and any other
auxiliary costs. I would arrive Melbourne Saturday morning and return
either Sunday or Monday. It is very last-minute but hopefully we can
build some quick momentum! I have 10 days -
the project is all-or-nothing so if I can't raise $300 by the 17th I
can't make it to Thornbury, boo :P But if I make it - YAY!
