share button error

for some reason today the share button on my blog posts, when clicked,
is not posting a thumbnail and link to facebook like it did up until
now - the comment box comes up on the profile page but not the link or
image to the post.
I clicked your share button and the same problem came up...is it a
temporary problem or is it something else?

Unfortunately, this is a recurring issue on Facebook's side (see http://bugs.developers.facebook.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7137). So, there is nothing we can really do about it but wait for it to pass (which it tends to do after several hours) and hope it doesn't come back for a while (which it generally does every couple months).

At this point, this outage is longer than most we've seen and it is affecting all redirect links being shared on Facebook. So, someone has started a new Facebook bug: http://bugs.developers.facebook.com/show_bug.cgi?id=11749 and we're encouraging folks to add their comments and/or votes to try to get Facebook to acknowledge the issue.
