meetings and more..

guys

had a small meeting last thursday,12th of jan attended by Amin, Amit Alok, Vivek, Anubhav and myself. we realised that a lot of work is to be done in the coming couple of months, including:

• follow-up of RTIs, and more importantly, doing sumthg concrete with the findings.
• making and putting up posters for inviting contributions for magazines, which shall be followed by editing, designing, financial arrangements and getting them printed.
• having a seminar with Mr. Ashok Agarwal on RTE and RTI, in collaboration with LAS, as soon as possible.
• doing our best to get the 2011 magazines distributed as soon as possible
• designing and putting up posters about the performance of Law fac and DUSU unions this year.
• devising and taking up a project on RTE and child labor, which may involve RTIs, legal as well as field work, possibly with technical/legal assistance frm Mr. Ashok agarwal, if reqd.

the previous sem has been much thanda in terms of activities by AWAZ and as convener, i take responsibility for letting it happen, due to my personal health issues.but we arent a strictly hierarchical orgn and all of us are leaders in the sense that we have taken up a cause and we want to lead the change. so lets try to lead by example and spread motivation. also, lets try to augment our manpower through better teamwork, coordination and cooperation. we cudnt keep a meeting this week due to certain reasons.we shall have a meeting soon, in the coming week. kindly try to be more participative, active, and willing to contribute manpower and also more regular and sincere towards the cause. we are either a part of it, or we arent. thr can be no mid-way.
