The Government of India has introduiced a Bill to provide for time bound
delivery of good and services and a mechanism ot redress grievances of
people against public authorities. The text of the Bill is attached.
I am circulating a preliminary note on the contents of the Bill for the
purpose of public discussion and debate. A more detailed analysis may be
done later. PLease feel free to circulate this note within and outside your
