hello everyone,
for an upcoming augmented reality project i need to display some very
complex models. currently i'm testing several 3d engines and away3d
lite looks very promising! but i can't get the engine to work together
with the flartoolkit. i tried to port the two classes in the
“org.libspark.flartoolkit.away3d” package (FLARBaseNode and
FLARCamera3D), but i did not get them to work :(
has anyone already portet them? or can anybody explain, what is
exactly done there. i don't really understand the matrix3d stuff
currently and don't know where to start...

hi katopz,
thanks fpr your help.
i managed to get a working flarbasenode for away3dlite ;)
i uploaded it into the filepool.
the flarcamera class didn't need a port. its working when you take a
simple Camera3D with zoom 16 and focus 50. x, y and z must not be set
to any other valus. these values are experimental, but i think there
doing their job quit good.

Very nice astrocreep! 2 things: 1) do you think its a good idea getting in touch with the flartoolkit team and telling them about the classes you've produced for the compatibility? Perhaps they can officially put them in their repository and 2) if you don't have a blog we could offer to make the announcement on one of ours... I love flartoolkit and lite, so I think spreading the news of what you've done would be wonderful
