Hi- now I've got a problem with no mouse events events firing on my
Sprite3D in Broomstick. Ive tried both the regular Flash MouseEvent
and the Away3D MouseEvent3D in my listeners but nothing fires. I've
set it up like this with the sprite3d declared globally:
var material:BitmapMaterial = new BitmapMaterial(new
AF_wings().bitmapData); // embedded png image
material.transparent = true;
AF_wings_sprite = new Sprite3D(material, 64, 64);
AF_wings_sprite.addEventListener(MouseEvent3D.MOUSE_OVER,
AF_wings_over);
AF_wings_sprite.addEventListener(MouseEvent3D.CLICK, AF_wings_click);
but nothing ever fires when I mouse over or click. Am I missing
something?

ah - discovered I need to add
AF_wings_sprite.mouseEnabled = true;
to make it work. Not used to doing that in regular Flash. Hope the
post helps someone else down the road.

Didn't take long... Thanks, you helped me out! I was banging my head
against that one last night.
