Parents,

We have over 110 children registered thus far for AWANA this year!   Thanks for trusting us with your kids!

A few helpful reminders:

Cubbies go upstairs and stay there for the evening, and a parent needs to pick them up.  They ALL say the same verse and section each night, this week it is section 1.  Cubbies books can be paid for at the secretaries table near the water fountain/storage club.  Cubbies Vests can be purchased there as well, it is helpful to come with your child and try on the sample sizes to determine which vest is best.

Sparks and TnT arrive, check in with the registration tables, reporting if they have their book, uniform, if they went to Sunday School (for an award), and if they have dues.  They earn 'bucks' for all of these parts.  They then go through the long hall and enter into the practice gym for opening exercises, the same place that they can be picked up by parents at 8 pm (if you want to see your child get awards when they complete jewels/or discovery sections you are welcome to head in a few minutes before 8 pm).

This year.... The Walk Through is part of the council time for the elementary age kids in sparks and TnT.  There will be 3 different bookmarks coming home with the words and actions.  Clubbers can say each section and earn 100 bucks by having their leader sign it, and turning it in.  When they know the whole walk through (all 3 bookmarks) they will be able to say it all together. It's a fun way to learn the sequence of the Old Testament.

Sparks kids can say up to 4 sections a night, TnT can say 3 sections a night.  If they say 3, they can play a quick game with Shorti during handbook time.   There are 26 club nights where children can say sections this year. (the 27th club is AWARDS night).

Due to a facility conflict- we will NOT have AWANA on October 13th and October 20th, this fall, so please note that.  Emmaus is celebrating their 70th anniversary and there will be a Discover Emmaus event. Enjoy some family nights!

If you need to purchase anything, here is the info so you can have it figured out:
