Parents,
Our first night of club is Thursday, September 8th. The program starts at 6:15 pm. (Please do not drop your children off any earlier than 6 pm as there is NO supervision until 6 pm)
Attached is the registration form for the Emmaus AWANA program. Please bring it filled out. We are also attaching the parent handbook that should give you all the information you need about our program, or to share with new families.
If you are no longer participating in AWANA, feel free to unsubscribe to these messages- link at the end of the message, or reply to me and I will remove your email.
Remember our AWANA program is designed for children in the following age categories.
Cubbies Ages 3-4-5 (children should be 3 by Sept. 15th, 2011, the concept is that they are in cubbies the 2 years before Kindergarten).
Sparks: Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade (typically age 5, 6, 7, and 8)
TnT: children in grades 3, 4, 5, 6 (ages 8, 9, 10, 11)
If you bring guests, please be sure we have an emergency contact for their parent/guardian. Children do sometimes get ill during the club and we need to contact someone.
It is our preference that children are grouped by their grade level and age, this means that if you are homeschooling and your child is working on academic skills for an advanced grade level, it is still probably better to keep your child with the other children who were born the same year. If you have questions or concerns, please speak with your child's director or commander.
