FW: AWANA Grand Prix Car Weigh In--this week only

….just a final reminder to bring your Grand Prix cars to AWANA this week, fully finished with your number and name written on the bottom and number also on the top. Racing is the following week.

 

Hello Race Fans and Drivers,

 

Just a reminder that due to the cancellation of AWANA last week, that this week will be the ONLY week to turn in the cars.  So don’t forget to bring your sleek racing machines to AWANA THIS WEEK. 

 

The race is next week, and due to the prework of getting the cars and brackets set up in advance, we can’t except cars after this Thursday.

 

Look forward to seeing all the car designs.

 

 

 

Grand Prix Information

(Award categories this year will be for Patriotism/Awana club/Original design)

There will be separate races & awards for Cubbies/Sparks/T&T/Parents & Leaders

*Thursdays, February 2nd – February 9^th – Grand Prix car sales ($4.00 each)

Only New cars purchased this year from Awana will be eligible to race

*Saturday, February 11^th – Workshop at Emmaus gym from 9-11:00 a.m.

This will be the time to get help with adding weights to cars, etc.

* Thursday, February 23^rd  March 1- Grand Prix weigh in

ALL cars must be turned in by this date in order to race (include name & number on bottom)

*Thursday, March 8^th – Race Day  6:15 – 8:00 (Snow day – March 22^nd)

Family & Friends are encouraged to attend the Grand Prix
