FREEDOM TO PALESTINE & MASJID-AL-AQSA
PUBLIC MEETING

so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews partly or wholly as their

We the Indian people stand in solidarity with the courageous Palestinian nation in their struggle against the Israeli Zionist colonial occupation of their homeland. The Indian people ever since the days of our own independence movement have steadfastly supported the Palestinian nation.
The following dignitaries graced the occasion & made speeches in support of the Palestinian cause. The conference was presided by Prof. Syed Liyaqat hussain Moini, Maulana Syed Muhammad Ashraf (Gen Secretary, All India Ulema & Mashaikh Board, (Chief Guest), Zuhair hamdallah, Dep. Minister, Palestine Embassy, ex-MP Ramdas Athawale), Feroze Mithiborwala (Founder of the Asian Peoples Solidarity for Palestine), K. G. Suresh (Dir. GFCh), SS Yadav (renowned economist), Kavita Srivastav (PUCL), Syed Babar Ashraf (Sec. AIUMB), Maulana Fazle haq (Chairman Madrasa Board), Damodar Gurjar (Dir. Dev Group of collees), Amin Pathan (State President Minority Cell, BJP), Basheed Kazi (Dir. Wizard India Ltd.) & Dr. Munawwar Choudhary (President, Sukoon, Jaipur).
The Indian delegates that
participated in the Asian Convoy in the Global March to Jerusalem – 2012, were felicitated by the house. Mr. Feroze Mithiborwala, who also gave the keynote address
was feted with the Khwaja Garib Nawaz International Peace Award for leading the Asian
convoy & for his contribution to the cause of Palestine. The other members
of the Indian delegation that included Farha Iman, Syed Muhammad & Shujaat
Ali were also felicitated & the contribution of these remarkable youngsters
was lauded by one & all.
Thus as an integral part of the growing national & international solidarity
movements for Palestine, the MSO has organized this public meeting to once
again remind the Indian people of our proud national legacy, as well as the
fact that Zionist & fascist Israel is a security threat to our very own
sovereignty & security.
The Israeli occupation is committed to the total ethnic cleansing of the
Palestinian people from all of historic Palestine & the destruction
of the holy sites which include the Masjid-al- Aqsa & the Dome of the Rock
in Jerusalem.
We are therefore committed to:
- Palestinian Self-Determination
- Ending the Zionist Occupation
- The Right of Return for Palestinian refugees
- Boycott of Apartheid Israel
- Equal Rights for All within historic Palestine
Israels racist occupation has surpassed even the brutalities of the South African
apartheid regime & thus we call upon the government of India to end all
political, diplomatic, economic & military ties with this rogue regime. The
Zionists stand exposed for their involvement in acts of terror, assassinations
& subversive espionage activities activities across the world & thus
Israel poses an existential threat to our nation.
We unite with all peoples’ movements and national resistances, peace loving citizens and democratic states of the world for the establishment of a Sovereign, Independent and Democratic state of Palestine with Jerusalem as the capital.
