There are many traiditions in the craft and many people representing
them, there are also, sadly some that are a lot less genuine than they
pretend.

The most reliable way to look at them is to look at what they do, both
for their own members and outside.

Especially outside.

Some traditions like the Path have a long history of helping all wqho
come to them, and often those people doi not even know who is helping
them.

Other traditions only interact with outsiders in order to recruit from
among them.

Some people spend most of their efforts in destroying what others have
done, In lies and gossip, defamation and manipulation, Such poeple
also tend towards threats and bullying to acheive their aims.

What does that tell you about them?

Simple, they are not truly among the wise, they are pretenders whose
sole reasoning is self aggrandisement
