Truth is not elusive, it is found by those that look for it.

Truth is not hidden in the dark

Truth does not come from those who hide it

Truth is objective and is not a matter of opinion

Telling a lie often enough does not make it truth

The hardest situation to understand is when the truth has been bent or twisted to seem believable, but is actually untrue. It looks like the truth, smells like the truth, but it's not.

Your own intuition is the best guide to detecting lies, so listen to that gut feeling! But it's much harder to detect lies that people actually believe for themselves: this is when we need independent verification.

How do we fight for the truth? By never ceasing to ask questions of anyone, no matter who they are. We each have the right to know the truth, in any situation that affects us directly.

Understanding the truth requires knowledge - information - facts. By having as many of the facts as we can get our hands on, from as many independent sources as possible, we empower ourselves.

If someone stands in your way of getting to the truth, you must ask them 'why?'. Because any who stand in your way of getting to the truth, or tell you not to look, are breaking the keys of perfect love and perfect trust. The easiest thing for a deceiver to do is to deflect your questions - change the subject, or confuse you with their answers, or tell you that you wouldn't understand. If you come away feeling unsatisfied then you're probably not getting the answers you're looking for, and this should ring alarm bells.

The Path is entirely based on truth, and therefore justice, for without truth we have nothing but a charade. This requires courage, both to speak the truth, and to ask for it, and to listen.

Deception is a negative energy that invariably comes round to bite you on the bum, and usually brings down everyone else with it. That's why the truth is worth fighting for.

I  agree with White, she has stated it very well.  The truth is always worth fighting for; especially when it is hidden in shades of gray.

I propose a question to all, what is the truth?  Really think about it.

I know this; that often I don't know enough to be able to say for sure even after investigation.  I can only know what I have experienced, that which I know has passed, and that which has been shared with me. This does not mean I have the whole of it.

Irrespective of the specific topic or timing when it comes to something that I am not immediately involved in, especially when I am not near enough to get to the root of it,  I must somehow believe more than one perspective. I must give my faith in perfect love and trust.

There are times this is also the case when I a personally involved, as I have found sometimes the truth is as clear as the air we breath and other times it is as clear as adobe.

When it comes down to it really, what is the truth?  I'm thinking that none of us may know the absolute truth of a thing.  That we at some point are forced to assume, that we may only discern the probable or seeming truth of a thing.

Truth is reality.

But each of us perceive reality through our own filters, from our own perspective.

Only by eliminating the self can we view reality as it is.

Only through a state of selflessness can we glimpse the truth.

Walk in the light...and become the light you walk in.
