KUU-US acht building- (location of free urgent and basic need items ) will closed until November 19th for renovations

Hello fellow helpers in the community;

 

If you can pin up the posters for your clients and advise that access to the acht building for free basic and urgent needs items will not be available until November 19th due to renovations. Regular office hours (Mon-Fri 10am-2pm)  for crisis support, housing linkages and homeless advocacy will continue to operate at the administration office. Access to urgent and basic needs items will still be available during Saturday street outreach but not during the weeks for the time period specified above. 

We are in the midst of expanding and will be opening up a drop in center. We look forward to holding workshops, training sessions and meetings when everything is completed. It is exciting that we will have additional space to assist our client population.

In the mean time we will not be taking donations so if you can pass that on as we are setting up our other new location on site for the acht building. Space is limited at this time while we move items to make room for the renovations.

I have also included the street outreach schedule for those of you that may not have one.  Please advise your clients, this will help bring down the number of calls we get looking for the time slots and locations.
