Released: v.1.0 Strategic Community Roadmap for an Australian FAIR Vocabulary Ecosystem

Dear AVSIG participants and colleagues,

For those interested, the Strategic Community Roadmap for an Australian FAIR Vocabulary Ecosystem is finally out.

As many of you are aware, this was first proposed in 2022 at a workshop sponsored by the Australian Data Archive, the Australian Research Data Commons, and CODATA. It was subsequently advanced through community consultations from 2022 to 2024 via eResearch BoFs and the AeRO newsletter.

Thank you to Ryan Perry and Larissa Dorzheeva for assisting with publication through Steve McEachern’s prior affiliation -  The Australian Data Archive, POLIS: The Centre for Social Policy Research.

The co-authors would like to sincerely thank all those who contributed their valuable time and expertise along the way, including their institutions, organisations, facilities, and industry affiliations, through workshop participation, planning, and promotion, or participation in an eResearch BoF and feedback on the document.

This document is one piece in a large picture.
