The International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP) some time ago, teamed up with CODATA to create the IUSSP-CODATA Working Group on FAIR Vocabularies

They have recently published this report: FAIR Vocabularies in Population Research and are holding a webinar also titled FAIR Vocabularies in Population Research on Monday 12 June, 12:00-13:30 UTC. You can register here.
