A new working group on multilingual controlled vocabularies in Social Sciences and Humanities is starting in the Research Data Alliance (RDA). The group will work towards alignment of multilingual vocabularies in SSH through developing recommendations for methodology to create and update multilingual vocabularies in SSH and the best practices to FAIRify the vocabularies and their versions. The Group’s Case Statement is open for Community Review and the co-chairs of the Group (Arnaud Gingold, Terhi Nurmikko-Fuller, and Gema Bueno-de-la-Fuente) kindly invite all interested colleagues to engage. The Community Review is open until June 29, 2024.
The Case Statement is available for Community Review here: https://www.rd-alliance.org/rationale/alignment-of-multilingual-vocabularies-in-the-social-sciences-and-humanities-wg/
