avrub downloader for (embedded) linux

Hi, I'm searching a avrubd for linux and then I need to port them for embedded linux (buildroot). I'm looking for some guidelines to start with this develop.

I have a atmega644p connected via UART to a arm9 processor with embedded linux. I need a tool to change the program code in the atmega644p using a UART from arm9 with embedded linux.

Exist some console commands to load a new program on microcontroler via serial port?

If I found a some C linux stile program I would port this program to a embedded linux.
