Bootloader start

Hello

I have try to use bootloader with mega128 and appear all O.K.
Problem; when I set pinG.4 to start the bootloader, the program that
start from 0 in flash memory is erased every time, also if I don't
download my software to the cpu.
In this situation if i touch the pin G.4 accidentally the proggrsm is
erased.
Is possible to fix this problem ?

Hi,

 

I don't know why this problem happen, pin PG4 seem that have no special.

 

I think it maybe cause by other reason, such as external interference signal. If you check CKOPT and BODEN fuse bits

 

And you may try use other pin to launch bootloader, to see whether same problem may happen.

 

If you have do more test, please tell me the result.
