Should we add a section to the documentation for AVR chips that XBoot
has been positively tested on? Of course, with a note that it should
work on any XMega.

That's a good idea. Also, the idea behind XBoot is that it's the
eXtensible Bootloader (not necessarily xmega specific), so eventually it
will also work with regular ATmega chips. Currently, it should support
all the xmega chips, though.
