Hi group,
I've been working in the last weeks with avr-uip, to perform some
experimentation about ip networking with uControllers.

I'm working with a custom board, based on ATMega328p and ENC28J60
(nothing new to you), and during my work I've introduced some fixes to
the uart and 1wire libraries. I've also added some new apps,
specifically an ajax-based web page to display auto-refreshing data
and a custom httpd-server that displays different pages using GET
requests arguments.
In the next months I'll probabilt have to port all that codebase to
another custom board based on ATMega32.

I was wondering if all of that could be interesting to you, and if
there is a way to contribute to your work.
I can provide a link to the github repo of the project, if someone is
interested.

Thanks for you work
j

Wonderfu, please post the link to the repository.

I would be happy to merge your changes into the tree.

Here it is:
https://github.com/jmondi/hetnet_avr-uip

Main changes have been made in the uart and 1wire libraries... The
first one works, the second now compiles well but I haven't already
tested it (I'm working on it).
additional apps are simple_ajax and custom_httpd.

Hi group,
I had been ported uIP0.9 to ATMega32 with ENC28J60. And I could
tx&rx email on it, because I realized SMTP protocol on it. However, I
believe porting uIP on a microcontroller is a complex thing. Moreover, the
author of uIP have stopped to update this TCP/IP stack long ago. So I think
it is necessary to perfect this stack.

Best regards,

Hello,

I'm not clear what you are saying.
Yes, the tcp stack has not been updated for some time.  It sounds like you have smtp working.  That is great.  For avr chips the port should be altering the clock settings and setting the spi port setting.

I feel I am missing something in your post.

hi, did you manage to port the code to atmega32?

best regards

Hi Holger,
No, for different reasons I moved to a different architecture, so I had not to port the stack to atmega32...

Thank you
