Hello,

I think your project is very interesting... combining a damn cheap
board (the TuxGraphics one) with a find TCP/IP stack like uIP promises
nice perspectives.

However, could you please create a status page on your google project
to tell what works and what doesn't.

You don't need to promise that you will implement anything, just say
what works now, and what are the known bugs.

Thanks for this great project!

Laurent Debacker.

BTW, you should also state whether you are the same project than
http://www.laskater.com/projects/uipAVR.htm or not, because you have
the same name.

Laurent

All the Bascom-code on the TuxGraphics board is working.
There are some parts that I didn't completed totally, DNS and DHCP.

For the uip-code, I only adapted the code from Adam Dunkels to work on this
board. Telnet is working. You can find it at http://www.tuxgraphics.org

Oke. You have seen the ENC28J60 working on a AVR. Have you also seen the
Wiz810MJ? I just started a tutorial a week ago. The main reason for me to do
a tutorial is to get things documentated and shared. I think the WIZ810MJ is
better than the ENC28J60. Also a nice price.

You are talking about Google. I don't know what you mean by that.
My weblog is at http://benshobbycorner.nl and my homepage at
http://members.home.nl/bzijlstra

Or did you mean something else?

Thanks for your reply :)

I meant your project at google code corresponding to this mailing-
list: http://code.google.com/p/avr-uip/ (which has a link to this
mailing-list).

I was unaware of your homepage and weblog. It is very well made, but
TuxGraphics' board suits better my need because it can do something
else than control relays. Of course, I could customize your PCB, but
I'm not great at making my own PCB's. In addition, Wiz810MJ's benefits
over ENC28J60 are not clear to me.

Regards,
Laurent.

Sorry for the mix-up. Those projects aren't mine.
I hadn't seen you were addressing the avr-uip-group.

Hi,

I've made at minor modification to the google code frontpage... So people can see how far the project is...

BTW, you should also state whether you are the same project than
http://www.laskater.com/projects/uipAVR.htm or not, because you have
the same name.
I have changed the frontpage to state that the project is not uIP-AVR... :)
