Job Description For Executive Level Position In – R & D
Qualifications:
· M. Sc. (Polymer Chemistry/ Material Science) or M. Tech (Chemical)
· Ph. D in Polymer / Material science. Candidate with Ph. D. will have an added advantage. Published research papers and /or patents will be preferred.
Experience:
· Minimum 8 years industrial experience in adhesives, coating or printing industry out of which at least 5 yrs should be in R&D function. Some experience in Quality Management system is advantageous.
· Must have experience in handling multitasking activities effectively.
Job Description:
ü Product Development of Inks, Clear Coats, PVC films, Application films for screen printing.
ü Product analysis and development of competitive products.
ü To issue specifications for raw materials, process and product and to provide training to production and QA team.
ü Line trials of new products, trouble shooting & complaints analysis.
ü Developing new products as per customer requirement, in coordination with Marketing team by giving technical solutions to new requirements.
ü Long Term Testing & Infrastructure Maintenance.
ü Overall R&D lab Maintenance & handling of long term testing instruments.
ü Long term evaluation of products (New products, Vendor samples, Regular products & Competitor samples).
ü Formulate and implement new color formulations based on customer requirements.
ü To support plant operations for achieving their objectives for quality, yield improvement, cost reduction, process simplification etc.
ü Designing test procedures and processing steps (SOP, Work instructions and RM test methods).
ü To help various SBUs to meet their objectives for new innovative products for customer satisfaction.
ü To understand customer requirements by discussion with sales/marketing team and if required understand application by visiting customer and observing on line.
ü Infrastructure maintenance and calibration of existing one.
ü Provides assistance in safety and environmental programmes such as Chemical Inventory, Material Safety Data Sheet, Labeling, Employee training and Emergency Response.

Location - Ambernath, Thane District
Working Days & Weekly Offs – Monday to Sunday
(Currently, Friday is a Weekly Off)
Working Hours: General Shift 09.10 a. m. to 05.40 p. m.
Candidates residing on Central Suburbs only, preferably Thane, Kalyan, Dombivili, Badlapur, Vikhrol, Ghatkopar, Karjat etc.
