Globethics.net India is recruiting for the post of Programme Executive (50%) to work in their office in Bangalore. A commitment of 50% work, i.e. 4 hours per day or 20 hours per week is required.

The tasks include the following:

1. Management of the office of Globethics.net India located in Bangalore, in association with the team of directors, under the supervision of the Director of Globethics.net India;
2. Maintaining contact with the Globethics.net Head Office in Geneva, Switzerland; and
3. Secretarial tasks and project implementation related to the workflow of Globethics.net India.

The following important criteria will be used for the selection of the applicant:

1. A research student at the level of MPhil or PhD, preferably with a background in humanities, and if possible in ethics. Scholars who have completed their PhD may also apply;
2. Ability to speak and write in English, with experience in research and abstract writing;
3. Readiness to offer secretarial assistance and project management to the office of Globethic.net India;
4. Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and Internet versatility;
5. Availability in Bangalore (the office of the Globethics.net India is located within the Dharmaram Campus, located at the Dairy Circle. The campus houses Dharmaram College, Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram, Christ University, and Christ Schools, with a student population of 15,000).

Confirmation of the appointment will be subject to the decision of the Executive Director of Globethics.net in Geneva.
