Hi ladies,

So, we've had a slight change of plans. We can't find enough women's teams to commit to the April 16th tournament. At least, it's slightly reassuring that Asheville isn't the only place with commitment issues!

Instead of a women's tournament, we're going to be hosting a co-ed Hat Tournament. Here's the announcement below. Stay tuned for more details. This will be open to all, so bring all your friends and make a fun day out of it.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 16th for the inaugural AUC Spring Fling Hat Tournament! Anyone is welcome to come and toss their name in the hat to be assigned a team for the day. Teams will play between 3-4 games. Cost to play is - $10 or $5/5 canned goods for Manna Food Bank. More details coming soon. . .

Thanks,

Ally

Hi ladies,

First, apologies if you get this email twice. I sent to all Spring League players and our women's google group.

We are planning on a women's tournament on Saturday, April 16th at Memorial Stadium. Lots of you played last year and it was so much fun, we want to do it again. We are talking with teams from Charlotte and around the area to see what we can put together. It may be a round robin tourney or it may be a scrimmage with Charlotte women, followed by a men's scrimmage, and then a co-ed hat game.

Whatever the format is, we need a team (or two!) from Asheville.

Please let me know if you're interested and able to play on April 16th. This will give me an idea of what kind of numbers we have and whether we'll be able to field one or two teams.

Thank you!

Ally
