Twas the night before Christmas, and all throughout Blazie,
We were working on the update, trying not to go crazy.
The software was coded and tested with care,
In hopes the new update soon would be there.
The customers were sleeping, all snug in their beds,
While dreams of the update danced in their heads.
When from under the tree, I heard something sqawking,
I realized it was just my BT Speak talking.
To my trusty notetaker, I ran like a flash,
Hoping so badly the system didn't crash.
And out on the roof, I just had to laugh,
What did I see but the whole Blazie staff.
They were led by a man, so kindly and lean,
I knew in an instant that it had to be Deane.
More rapid than Windows, the staff members came,
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name.
"Now David, now Stephen, now Tim and now Simon,
I'd mention the rest but I'm tired of rhymin."
And up to the roof the staff members flew,
With a fabulous update, so shiny and new.
And then, in a twinkling, with a sound so unique,
I heard the voice from Deane's own BT Speak.
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
With A bundle of features, all ready to go.
A wink of his eye, his balance so steady,
I knew my BT Speak was definitely ready.
He turned on my unit, looking very amused,
And my BT Speak was now ready to use.
He left with his staff, going back to their place,
But a smile so bright still remained on my face.
But I heard him exclaim, as he was closing the gate,
"Happy Christmas to all. Enjoy the update!!!"
