Greetings All.

Following the AGM last Saturday where we were talking about the annual convention and saying where it is held one year in the north and one year in the south, was just thinking one year it could possibly be held in the Midlands area. Safe for example, no further north than Leeds and probably no further south than Birmingham. People from the north would not have to travel too far and pay not too much and people from the south likewise we don’t mind travelling north or south, but it would be nice to have it in our area sometimes. What do people think?
Regards,
Stuart.

Dear Stuart
Thanks for this message.
I understand having one conference in the North i.e Nottingham or Leeds but I am sorry Birmingham is not south in my view it needs tobe soemwehre like Eastbourne or Brighton thati s whati would call south .
I ddo agree it needs to be in the North one year and the south the next . I wasn't at the AGM so can't really comment but Birmingham is north in my view .

Greetings,

We've had meetings in the midlands such as at Bright Street, Birmingham,
we've had Worcester, Derby, Stuart, come up with some definite ideas and we
can then look at these further.

Not only venues, but subjects would be very much appreciated.

Colin Howard, living in Southern England.

Yes, and you could add Loughborough's Jarvis Hotel in Y2K to the Midlands Tally as well.

We had definitely moved into the AVIOS phase by then, but not for that long.

Cheers, CB.

Hi Jane,

Technically speaking, Birmingham is in the West Midlands and is the centre of the country.

Hi all,

Regarding Midlands weekends, we’ve had:

1999, Rugby. 2000, Loughborough. 2012, derby and 2018, Worcester.

Of course, we had two CCM weekends in Worcester in 2018 and 2019.
