Gayathri's baby shower expense details

Hello ladies,

This is to let you know that we have settled all the expenses for the baby shower.

Like any Avington gathering, this was also a group effort, thanking few of the wonderful ladies (and guys) who helped.
- Thanks Madhavi Param, Rama and Dharani and me for all the enthusiasm in spending money from your pockets and booked the club house, bought the gifts and cake and supplies (all accounts settled now).

- Kavitha, Sujatha and Mani, thanks for giving more than your share , it really helped. (Did I miss any???)
- Thanks Hema and Sushma for your good intentions to be a part of this shower at least monetarily as you had prior engagements.
- Thanks Rubeena for your contribution even though you couldn't make it .
- Thanks Laxmi and Rama for the games and Vidhya for the photos, which we are eagerly waiting for .
- Thanks to all those guys and ladies who helped in cleaning up at the end.

Due to a last minute unforeseen issue a family was not able to attend. But since we already planned individual shares based on all the positive responses, we had to break into 2013 Diwali surplus of $68 to cover our costs. Also a toy was broken at the club house and Madhavi Param had to pay $15 extra, which is also being refunded. We collected $412 and spent $439.45, difference of $27.45 was taken from Diwali fund and $40.55 remains. Please check the google doc for details.

I believe Lakshmi's gift is still with Rama, and soon a visit can be planned to see her and the baby boy for all those are interested.

I have a blue-lid-rubber maid-container plus two plastic spoons, reminiscence of the shower, please claim if it's yours, it's visiting the trash if I don't hear by April 1st .
