Baby shower for Gayathri and Lakshmi

Ladies of Avington,

Let's start off the first quarter of year with a joyous event - a BABY SHOWER   .

There is yet another Avington get-together coming up, this time to welcome two little babies. Gayathri is having a baby girl at the end of April and Lakshmi Srini is having a baby boy second week of March. We are close to confirming a venue outside of Avington, and need head count for that. Please reply to me asap if you are free on March 8th 6pm, and would like to participate. There will be a nominal cost around $10-$12 per family for the venue rent plus if we want we can always pool in money, around $10, and buy two gift cards from Babies-r-us or so for the moms-to-be.

I am sending a menu shortly, please add your entries. I have included all gmail ids that I normally get requests to add on, so please check you gmail also if your yahoo/hotmail/anymailid cannot access the google doc.

PS: We have surplus cash and silver ware from last Diwali party which will be used for this.
One more BIG PS :) Like any Avington gathering which is purely on a voluntary basis, help and support from ALL members are totally necessary and appreciated. Please don't wait to be asked, start offering based on your areas of interest.

Ladies,

Few things about the upcoming baby showers:

Date - March 8th, Saturday

Time - 5-10pm

Venue: Springmonte clubhouse, 2615 Cross Springs Dr, Cumming, GA 30041

Remaining to do:
- We had to shuffle the menu a bit to make sure all dishes are taken by two people to make it a full tray to be sufficient for everyone. So there are still few people to choose their dishes, please do that asap.
- And like any other Avington party,  where we all help out before/during/after the party, a separate tab in google doc is added with activities for all to pick and choose from, please choose one.
- If any of you have decoration items apt for 'boy or girl' baby shower please contact Dharani or Madhavi so we don't have to buy it. (dharan...@yahoo.com, Madhavi (madhavi...@yahoo.com)
- And 'gift ideas' are needed for Gayathri and Lakshmi. Please respond with all your creative ideas.

This time around we will incur the expenses first and then divide it among the participants. We are planning to collect it during party, so please make sure to carry some cash on you. The expenses are for venue rent, paper products, cakes, gifts and decorations.

Girls,

Somehow Gayathri came to know about the baby shower. She also know that we are planning for Lakshmi at the same time.
Ramesh told us that Gayathri is sentimental about have 2 baby showers at the same time and he asked us to go head with Lakshmi's only.

What do we do now?

Vidhya, Nyle and I are feeling that we should have a girls only shower for both separately
