Bug in PHP Effects API

I just downloaded the PHP Effects API from your website and deployed
it in my localhost. I loaded up example/index.php and tried to upload
a file but I get a "Syntax Error" javascript error when i click
Upload. Here is the screenshot of the error http://min.us/lkT9e6

Check the access permissions for the 'example/uploads' folder. It
needs to be writable. Let me know if that helps.
