Hi
I have checked the Aviary CMS/admin & there we can add resources. We want those resources to show on WordPress frontend.

I have checked the integrations with WP but there is no direct integration available & also plugins are not compatible to fetch images/videos/metadata on frontend.

Can your team please provide any suggestions like how we can get the data from Aviary to pull into WP storefront?

Is there any kind of API I can use to fetch that info? or is there any specific plugin available?
we have below attached resources present in the Aviary. Thanks!

For the benefit of other participants in this group, I'll provide a general answer to this question. However, I will take the specific answer to this org off the list and will direct it separately.

There is currently no direct integration, plugin, or connector between Aviary and Wordpress. However, that should not be necessary to provide access to Aviary resources. I'm not a Wordpress expert, but I believe the best method is to use an Aviary embed and a Wordpress Embed block.

Using this method would not require you to export any resources from Aviary or import them into Wordpress. You just need to decide which type of Aviary embed to use.

For more information about sharing Aviary resources and retrieving the embed codes, see the Aviary documentation: https://coda.aviaryplatform.com/sharing-content-from-aviary-74

This is also a question about how to find the documentation for the Aviary API. Again, I do not think it is necessary to display Aviary resources in Wordpress, but the API documentation can be found here: https://www.aviaryplatform.com/api/v1/documentation

Hi Team, I am able to fetch the Aviary resource data using API except Supplemental files.

The api url is incorrect in the documentation.
Here is the api url http://weareavp.aviaryplatform.com/api/v1/supplemental_files/127010
It is returning unauthoized access response. Just confirm whether the provided user has access to read supplimental_files.
Also how those files are related to the resource.  lvh.me basically points to localhost.

Can you please confirm if there is a way to fetch the supplement files using API? Thanks!

For the benefit of the rest of the group, yes, an Aviary Org Admin can GET supplemental files via the API. I see that we have formed the URL slightly differently in the API documentation, but the pattern is the same as all the other API calls. For example: https://aviaryplatform.com/api/v1/supplemental_files/1. If you are receiving an unauthorized access response, that indicates that you do not have permission to access this supplemental file.

I will update the API documentation to form the URL string for supplementary files in the same form as the rest of the URLs on that page.

Thank you.

Hi @avi...@weareavp.com  - Can you please let me know if APIs are working fine for fetching resources data? Is there any issue going on with APIs? As we have fetched the Aviary data on WP using sign in & other API but these are not returning anything now.
Those were working fine previously. Please check the status of the server & let me know if you can help with this? Thanks!
