Is there any prebuilt Avian available for Ubuntu?.  

What is the size of it?

Hi,

There's a very old version packaged for Trusty:
https://packages.ubuntu.com/source/trusty/avian. However, that
package is no longer maintained and not available in recent versions
of Ubuntu. I recommend building Avian from source instead.

On my system, the Avian binary built with the default options is about
2MB, stripped.
