காதலாகி  கசிந்து கண்ணீர் மல்கி 

ஓதுவார் தம்மை  நன்னெறிக்கு உய்ப்பது

வேதம் நான்கினும்  மெய்பொருள் ஆவது

நாதன் நாமம் நமச்சிவாயவே

Vetham Naanginum Meiporul Aavathu

Naathan Naamam Namachivayave

 

Those who chant the Lords Name “Nama Shivaya” with unalloyed love and devotion with tears rolling down are tread to the virtuous path by it.  Indeed, the real meaning of the four Vedas is nothing but divine name of the Lord ‘Nama Shivaya’.
