தாவடி ஓட்டும் மயிலிலும் தேவர் தலையிலும் என்

பாவடி ஏட்டிலும் பட்டதன்றோ படி மாவலிபால்

மூவடி கேட்டன்று மூதண்ட கூட முகடுமுட்டச்

சேவடி நீட்டும் பெருமாள் மறுகன்றன் சிற்றடியே

When Lord Vishnu assumed the form of Vamana seeking alms asked him for just three feet of land thinking that it is a small request Mahabali the King readily agreed. Then Vamana assumed a colossol universal form whose feet stretched to the roof of the Universe. Oh Lord Muruga you are the Son-in-Law of such a great person. It is surprising that your holy little feet touched the galloping peacock, the heads of the celestial bodies and my own literary compositions. It is gracious of you to bless me in this manner.
