Vlakkenberg, Hike, 2nd March (Saturday)

Hi

I am organising another hike to do Vlakkenberg from Groot Constantia. The date is the 2nd of March, early morning. According to this book I have in front of me...

Location: Start from the top of Prince Drive in Constantia or from Groot Constantia Wine Estate.

Overview: This route ascends the mountain from the heart of the Constantia Valley wine producing area through granite fynbos to reach Vlakkenberg where there are endless possibilities.

Duration: Five hours

Terrain: Path all the way

Difficulty: Moderately fit

Altitude gain: 500m

We will be doing it early morning again, around 7am. Who all is interested?

P.S. we are doing two mountain biking routes this weekend for those that are interested. The first one is Oak Valley, Grabouw early morning on Saturday and the other is Lebanon, Grabouw early morning on Sunday.
