Hello Team,

Good game today for the boys, they are playing very well. An update on the games for the rest of the season. We have 4 more games as listed below. If you want to check the draw, please use the following link:

Table
A few people asked me today about how we are going on the ladder, so I thought I'd give you an update. We are currently sitting 2nd on the table, and we'd have to not win 2 of the last 4 games to not stay 2nd at the end of the season. After the normal games, there will be at least 2 weeks of finals. I'm almost certain that the finals work like this:
1 v 4 (Most likely St Augustines v Seaforth)
2 v 3 (Most likely Avalon v Pittwater A)

The winner of each game plays the following week in the final. (Most likely St Augustines v Avalon (in my opinion))

If you'd like to check the table, you can use the following link, and I've made a list of the current table below.

Hope that all makes sense.
Thanks!

As you all know, our Avalon U12/2 boys will be playing in a semi-final match on Saturday. They will be playing Seaforth who came 3rd in the table. James will send out details of the match as soon as we know it.

In preparation for the semi-final, I have organised a practice match vs the Avalon U13/A team (div 2):

6pm - 6.40pm, Thursday 16th August, Careel Bay 1

We will still have a training session on Thursday, prior to the match, but it will start later than usual at 5.20pm. Please ensure that your player is there on time so that we can make good use of the 40 minute session.

Training today is at 5pm - 6.15pm as usual.

Please can we try and get everyone to training today and Thursday (I know I sound like a broken record) - its really important that the full team trains together this week so we can give them their best shot at winning the semi-final.

Cheers

David

I'm so sorry David but Damien is sick again today. He didn't even want
to miss school today but just wasn't well enough to get there. Its very
frustrating I know. Unless he is miraculously better he will have to
miss training today to rest. Hopefully he will be OK by Thursday.
